Crocs, Inc., is a retailer of casual footwear for men, women and children, specializing in rubber clogs, flip-flops and sandals headquartered in Niwot, Colorado. June 2004, Crocs bought Foam Creations to get exclusive rights to their patented Croslite material that is now used to create almost all Crocs products. In 2006, Crocs acquired Jibbitz, an accessories manufacturer that produced the plastic snaps used in Crocs shoes, paying $10 million for the company. In January 2007, Crocs acquired Ocean Minded, a leather and synthetic footwear seller. In July of that same year, Crocs purchase Bite Footwear for $1.75 million, a Redmond, Washington based sandal maker. Crocs was the title sponsor of the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) Tour from 2006 to 2009.

In April 2008, Crocs acquired Tidal Trade, Inc., a South African distributor of Crocs shoes for $4.6 million. A few weeks later, the company acquired Tagger International, a Dutch manufacturer of messenger bags.

Throughout its history, Crocs has sold over 300 million pairs of shoes in more than 90 countries. The company employs over 4,500 people and now has over 500 stores around the world.
